It was a pretty quiet day today. I was feeling a bit under the weather so I stayed in while Tobey, Ann and Gary walked down to the beach this morning. We played a couple card games when they got back then went to a nearby Italian restaurant for takeout at lunch. Tobey and I liked our lunch – lasagna and a panini, but Ann and Gary’s was so-so. You win some, you lose some.
We all went down to the beach later this afternoon and the water was nice for swimming and cooling down. After showers we played cards before dinner at the food-truck park near the beach. Tobey got the shrimp and chips and I had shrimp pad thai. Both were great! Ann and Gary had burgers and they were good, too. Win-win-win!
We walked and walked around town and then down by the beach. We hoped to hear some music at one of the clubs on the beach but it wasn’t very good. Tobey and I sat out watching the water for a while and enjoyed the breeze. Not much else to report! Pura Vida!
