Tobey’s shoulder seems to have healed – YEAH!!! He thinks he just pulled something and resting it did the trick.
It was a great beach day. The water was warm and it was fun spending time in the water and on the beach.We enjoyed a long walk on the beach and spotted this pelican hanging out. He was not at all afraid and didn’t move when we walked by.
This log has obviously been in the water for some time based on the number of barnacles.
We always appreciate how hard the hotels and restaurants work to keep the beaches clean and nice. Rake, scoop, and load the seaweed into wheelbarrows and haul away.
We needed a few groceries so we biked to the store before dinner. This dog was hanging out on the roof and let us know that we were on his street.
There were some bees out tonight, too. Not a good thing for me! One zipped through my hair, but didn’t sting me. The next one that zapped my arm did. Lucky me. NOT!!! I am hopeful the antihistamine works!
We went to the Xiximak Restaurant on Palenque Avenue, just a few blocks from our apartment for dinner. They had a special of three tacos and a beer for $110 pesos. Since we don’t drink beer, they substituted soft drinks instead. So, $13.25 USD for dinner and tip was a good deal – and they were delicious!We are going to watch the presidential debate tonight.
