Happy President’s Day!
This morning Chris found a scorpion in the pool when he was cleaning it.This was the first time we have seen one here. When he fished it out he flattened it to be sure it was dead – thank goodness!! We weren’t sure if it was alive, but they can apparently live up to 48 hours under water!
This year we are in the lower level apartment in the building behind the pool (away from the street. It is much quieter without the street traffic right by out bedroom window. We read today and Tobey beat me at two games of gin this afternoon, so he is ahead 4-3.
This evening we rode to the market to get cheese, then stopped for tacos and picked up our laundry. Tonight I am trying to finish a book and Tobey is working on his computer. Tomorrow will probably be a beach day.
