We are on our way to Texas for the solar eclipse with our friends, Phil and Marcia. We hit the road about 7:45 this morning with a stop in Trinidad, Colorado for gas and lunch before passing through the northeast corner of New Mexico and into Texas at Texline.
No pictures – just wind, wind, and more wind! It is most unpleasant driving with headwinds and crossing winds and that’s what the order of the day was. We’re overnighting at the Hadley Picnic area on Texas Hwy. 385 just north of the Canadian River.
It was a long day – 480 miles, but we understand the Rockies won their home opener, so Go Rockies!
