February 22, 2024 - Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to Fort Collins, Colorado

Our bags were packed - but I'm not sure we were ready to go! We had a great time in Cabo, but Tobey still has a cold and isn't feeling great, so I guess it's good to be home.

Our shuttle left at 9am and picked up one other passenger for the hour ride to the airport in San Jose del Cabo. We caught some glimpses of the ocean along the way and our driver pointed out some of the sights as we were traveling. Jeff Besos from Amazon is building a mega-mansion compound that looks like an ancient fortress! We wondered what it was going to be, so now we know!

We had a bus out to our plane and since we had the "cheap seats" entered through the back door.


Tobey got a great shot of our last views of the Sea of Cortez as we made our way north.

After customs and a plane change in Phoenix, we were over the Rocky Mountains coming into Colorado.

We got home about 8:30 tonight and are happy to be here. It was a good trip, but "there's no place like home!"
