January 26, 2023 - Puerto Madryn to Ushuaia, Argentina

We had a slow start today since our pickup for the airport wasn't until 1:30. We finally found the Empanada House that makes empanadas fritas (fried) instead of baked. They were better, but we're still not sure we're sold on them.

We ordered four different kinds and they stamp them with what is inside! I can't remember what we ordered, except for the PB, which was chicken and cheese!
The man that sat next to us on our flight to Ushuaia was quite talkative. He and a group were on their way to take an Antarctica cruise. We enjoyed the scenery from the plane.

Coming into Ushuaia you can see the town tucked in on the Beagle Channel with the mountains in the back.

It was raining when we landed and our driver was no where to be found. Fortunately, there is a tourism office and they were able to call the company and he was soon on his way. After checking in, we pulled out our down jackets and raincoats and headed out for some dinner. The WIFI is better, so hopefully I can get caught up with posts!
