Today was bike to the beach day … and we used the “Map my Hike” app on the phone to see how we actually went. Between riding to the beach (just under 6 miles each way) and walking on the beach, the roundtrip was right at 16 miles. Not a bad day’s work!
We had planned to stop at the barbacoa stand we had tacos at the other day on our way home for lunch, but they weren’t there. Who knows, perhaps they are only open on the weekend? We continued toward home and stopped at the “35 peso” restaurant. We got 5 tacos for $35 pesos and then 4 quesadillas for $35 pesos. All of the food items are priced the same but how many of each you get varies. The tacos were pretty good, but the quesadillas were so-so.
I took a swim in the pool to cool off once we got back to the apartment and relaxed outside while Tobey checked emails. Before dinner, Tobey rode over to the vegetable market to pick up fruit and veggies for dinner.
We are trying to decide what to do tomorrow … it is easy to just relax!
