Mexico 2012 RV Trip - Day 76 - March 11, 2012 Rincon de Guayabitos

We had a pretty lazy day – and we loved it! We walked into town to see what was happening with the VW show. There were even more Volkswagens in town today than last night. Everyone was so proud of their cars, it was fun to see!
We did see one guy with an alternative mode of transportation – he took his horse to town to get lunch!
We walked back from town on the beach and enjoyed the sun and water. We had to chuckle at these pelicans that kept hanging out near some of the food vendors. They did not like getting chased away and tried their hardest to stay grounded!
There is a resort near the RV park we are staying at called The Decameron. The buildings are colorful and grounds are well maintained. It looked very pretty.
Tomorrow we head north to Teacapan, about 200 miles. It will be a long day, but we do need to start putting some distance down in order to make it back to the States!

Thanks so much for your blog. We love reading about your journey, and we are always taking notes, since we will begin our Mexico journey very soon. Would you happen to have a list of all the RV parks that you stayed at? And if you do, can you post I know it is my easy way out, but if you have this already documented, it would certainly be a great help to those of us that will use that info. Thanks again for all you are doing!!! Wishing you a safe journey, many blessings and good health.

We are glad you are enjoying the blog. First of all, do you have the Church's Traveler's Guide to Mexican Camping? We have used that to help with our choices. We also used their online updates since the last edition of the book was published in 2009. http://www.rollinghomes.com/madds3.htm
We didn't always stay in RV parks, sometimes we boondock, sometimes at restaurants. I can compile a list if you still need it when we return to the States. Let me know.
Happy planning!

Yes, we have the book, and many other lists and web sites. But it is always nice to know other folks experiences at the parks, or any other places they get to stay. If it is not too much trouble, we would love to see your list. Thanks,

I'll compose a list when we get back in April - kind of a summary of the trip. I hope that will be soon enough.
