We decided to try El Perigrino for dinner tonight. It gets great reviews and we figured why not? Well, I will tell you why not! While the food presentation was beautiful, the food was so-so, at best. I had the tortilla soup. It tasted mostly like tomato soup from a can with tortillas and tofu in it.
Tobey had the shrimp enchiladas and again, the sauce tasted like tomato soup. Everything was pretty bland. The amazing thing was how busy it was - although almost everyone looked like they were from the US! Did I mention the price? Over $43 USD and we each had only one soft drink!
The best part of the walk was walking and seeing the signs. Today's sign:
I probably should have ordered this soup instead! We have walked by this building almost every day and neither of had noticed the car going into the second story!
The other bonus for the day is the weather has been much warmer - 76F today. Yeah! Tomorrow should be another nice day.
