We said goodbye to Vicki this morning and got on the road headed for Kentucky. We had a couple stops along the way – groceries, lunch, walk Penny. 
It started off rainy, then got sunny, then clouded over again. Fall has certainly arrived! The leaves are starting to turn here, but it hasn’t been as colorful as North Carolina, Virginia, or West Virginia.
Penny was tuckered out and climbed into Tobey’s lap for a nap. She just loves being close!
We arrived at our friends, Cathy and Jim’s house about 3pm and set up camp next to their house.
We went out to dinner and had a wonderful time catching up on what is happening in their lives. The time passed much too quickly, but we were glad we came. Tomorrow we head to Tennessee to visit one of Tobey’s fraternity brothers and his wife.
