Day 6 – Panama Canal Cruise
We are really loving our days at sea. Tobey and I slept in and had breakfast at The Taste Restaurant. The “Bakery Girls”, Michelle and Jenny, come around to the tables and sing to the guests before delivering the pastry of the day. They are so sweet and have a cute rhyming song about the pastry. It makes Tobey’s day! We had actually finished our breakfast, but waited for them to arrive! Today’s pastry was a breakfast brownie. “Yummy, yummy for your tummy!”
We spent time by the pool, went on the water slide, and ate too much food! Phil, Marcia and I went to the lecture on Costa Rica this afternoon. It was supposed to be about the natural wonders of Costa Rica, but I left not really sure what he said! The speaker was terrible and seemed totally unprepared. Glad I have been there before!
Juggler, Jason Garfield, was the entertainment in the theater tonight. He was funny and a great juggler. We really enjoyed watching him. Later, Tobey and I enjoyed listening to the band, Siglo. Their lead guitar player is pretty amazing.
Tomorrow Costa Rica.
