We have been in Arizona visiting with our families for Christmas for the last week. Tonight we got together with a long-time friend, Roger. He came over for dinner then we went to Tempe Marketplace for an outdoor music concert.
Normally, an outdoor concert would be lots of fun. The weather in Scottsdale today was cold – and windy – really windy, so it was not as much fun as we had hoped! We grabbed hats and gloves and ski jackets and off we went. We grabbed a table by one of the “heaters.” Those heaters really don’t give off much heat, but they do create a nice ambience! The band was called Narcoleptic Spiders. The music was good, but the lead singer who is also the band’s manager was the weak link!
At 7 and 8 pm, the center had “snowfall” to delight the viewers. It was fun watching the little kids dancing and having fun. We listened to the music for an hour and saw both snow events before heading to the Barnes and Noble for hot chocolates!
It was a fun evening but we all decided outdoor concerts would be more fun if the temperature was 30 degrees warmer!

Blog Testing
I haven’t posted the last couple of trips because “LiveWriter”, the format we use for blogging has changed and wasn’t working.
Tobey has finally been able to research and get it up and running again – we think – thanks to a heads-up from a friend who also uses this format.
We are starting a new adventure after Christmas, so be on the lookout!
